        Dear Friends and Allies,

Class is now in session! Thanks to our grassroots support, Freedom University defies the Regents' ban on undocumented students, offering rigorous, college-level instruction to all academically qualified students regardless of their immigration status and without fees or tuition. This would not be possible without your help.

Please help us secure our final needs for the class, and for future classes, by making a monetary or in-kind donation. We have an Amazon wish list with required textbooks and supplies set up under Freedom University Georgia. We appreciate new or used copies of these texts. Please include your contact information in the optional gift message so we can properly thank you!

We also accept cash, checks (cashiers and personal) or money orders. Freedom University has 501(c)(3) status under the Economic Justice Coalition, Inc. All donations are tax deductible and will go directly toward course needs or our FU Scholarship Fund.

Several of you have explored how your institutions can help Freedom University students in the way that matters most to them -- that is, in ultimately attending accredited colleges. Does your university, for example, have discretion over tuition remission or financial aid for students regardless of immigration status? Are you aware of any route by which a qualified Freedom University student might be able to matriculate to your campus, given their ineligibility for federal and state aid? Or would your college be able to offer academic credit for our class, which the students could then apply toward a degree when they have found a way around the barriers the state has put in front of them? If so, we would be grateful to hear from you. Please email us at freedomuniversitygeorgia@gmail.com

Any gift or insight you can share will be greatly appreciated.

        In Solidarity,
        FU Faculty, Students, and Organizers
